Prerequisites:

  • Basic knowledge of web context and protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP) and related applications (browsers, generic clients)
  • Basic knowledge of server-side and client-side programming languages in web development (HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Java, ASP, etc.)

Syllabus:

  • Fundamentals of Web Application Security (AppSec)
  • Application security in the software development life cycle (Secure Software Development Life Cycle)
  • Testing methodology based on the OWASP Testing Guide
  • Technical analysis of vulnerabilities and attacks based on the OWASP Top 10

Key Skills Acquired:

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals in web environments
  • Methodologies and tools for web application analysis based on the OWASP Testing Guide
  • Analysis of web attacks based on the OWASP Top 10
