Enrollments Open for the Specialization Course in "Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection"

Enrollments are now open for the Specialization Course in "Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection," a specialist training program delivered online (via the Microsoft Teams platform) that aims to train experts in the design and management of ICT and Cybersecurity-based systems, which are essential for protecting the informational and architectural assets of companies and Critical Infrastructures.

Course Target Audience

The Course is aimed at a wide audience:

  • Graduates and Diploma holders with an IT background who wish to specialize in vertical cybersecurity and infrastructure protection topics.
  • Flexible Admission: Admission is also open to those who, despite not possessing specific degree qualifications, have a high school diploma and proven knowledge or professional experience relevant to the Course profile.

Online Training and Flexibility for Workers

The Course offers maximum flexibility for those already in the workforce:

  • Online Format: All teaching activities take place remotely, making attendance compatible with work commitments.
  • Enrollment for Individual Modules: To meet the needs for focused professional development, it is possible to enroll not only in the entire Course but also in one or more individual modules of interest. This is perfect for professionals and workers who need to deepen specific skills.

Lessons will take place from January 2026 to the end of January 2027, with an indicative commitment of 16 hours per week (Thursday afternoon, Friday, and Saturday morning).

Financial Benefits

The University provides several financial benefits to facilitate access to the training:

  • Reduced Fee for unemployed candidates enrolling in the entire Course (€ 2,516.00 instead of € 5,016.00).
  • 50% Discount on the cost of individual modules or thematic parts, dedicated to UNIGE PhD students, unemployed individuals, or those employed under flexible work arrangements.

How to Apply

The final deadline for submitting the application for admission to the entire Course or to single parts or modules is set for 12:00 PM on December 1, 2025. Applications must be submitted exclusively online.
